Thanks to utilising up to date aerodynamic and acoustic techniques, World Acoustic Group SA offers a market leader solution for ground aircraft tests. Ground run-up enclosures have a wide use range, being suitable even for largest power machines, such as for example the world’s largest civilian airplanes – Airbus A380.

JETSHIELD ™

The rear wal lis made of patented Jetshield TM structure, designed for extreme aerodynamic and acoustic conditions. Jetshield TM precisely directs and leads the blast away. Changing airflow direction and limiting its speed prevents air from returning to the engine and thus disturbing its operation.

AEROWALL ™

The Aerowall TM patented structure of side walls was designed especially to provide maximum acoustic and aerodynamic parameters. Lateral gaps soften the influence of wind and reduce pollution transmission.

Jet blast deflectors and airport noise barriers applicable to all civil and military airports.

Products WAG SA for aviation meet requirements to devices used to test aircraft engines.

World Acoustic Group SA specializes in comprehensive performance of acoustic screens in airports both civilian and military.

Jet blast deflectors provide:

• efficient protection against blasts caused by airplane engine operation

• aesthetic and styled outlook

• typical foundations, proper for most types of ground

Jet blast deflectors may be used for buildings, terminals, pedestrian pathways and streets, other aircraft protection against:

• blast caused a stationary engine,

• blast caused by an airplane takeoff,

• blast caused by engine ground tests.

Deflectors are designed to provide an extraordinary life thanks to:

• hot-dip galvanized steel

• galvanized frames and fasteners

• shock-proof connectors

• special paint coating

Standard height of deflectors: 3.1m, 4.3m and 6m – other available on request.

World Acoustic Group SA offers test cells for various aircraft engines, starting from helicopters, through civilian airplanes to specialized machines used by the military.

World Acoustic Group SA test cells are meant for the following engines:

  • turboshaft

  • turbojet

  • turbofan

  • turbo-prop

Basic elements of a test cell are:

  • high quality building, with a modular design

  • rotational test position

  • air delivery system and cooled exhaust system

  • entry and exit noise dampeners

  • full measurement electronics, including a data distribution and processing system    • air-conditioned, acoustically isolated space for employees

  • preparatory room

  • fire prevention system

  • monitoring and communication system

  • low and high pressure air system

  • fuel storage and cooling space
